What was working with Rick like? Frankly a nightmare, chaotic, at times exasperating, exciting, inspiring, rewarding & great fun in equal amounts. Rick’s mantra was that there is good inside everyone, you just needed to find a way to unlock it. Irrespective of your academic or practical capabilities he encouraged staff to work to their maximum; he then slowly coached them to achieve just a little bit more. Unselfish in the support that he gave, Rick had a positive impact on some many lives. He had the ability to attract talented staff with the aim to create lasting Teams. This was just as well because he needed a loyal Team around him to dig him out of the numerous scraps he got into! He was a born leader & will be remembered by so many for his pragmatism, fairness, integrity & above all his caring nature. Rick thank you for touching our lives.
